the early days Grammar School educated,  Chas Donnelly  was apprenticed to a firm of Journeyman French Polishers in the City of London in 1976 at the age of  sixteen...


Whilst attending the London College of Furniture he learned the trade "on-site" working in the Financial institutions,  Inns   of Court and Livery Halls which the "square mile" is famous for...

 

Following an interval as a Qualified Journeyman, Chas was engaged by  P&O Cruises as their
"Ships-Polisher."  Where for several years he travelled the world assigned to  mvSea Princess   and the company's flagship  ssCanberra  attaining the rank of  Senior Chief Petty Officer having carried out the on-board refitting and restoration following her role as a troop-ship in the 1982 Falklands War...

 

ssCanberra '82 Chas formed the company in 1986, during which time he has built a regular but varied client basis.  The business has continued to thrive, and maintains an enviable reputation for it's totally professional service, high quality workmanship and competitive prices.
